Roles
For customer operational data, the customer generally acts as controller or business and PortMend acts as processor or service provider where those concepts apply.
Processing instructions
PortMend processes personal data only as needed to provide, secure, support and maintain the service and according to documented customer instructions, subject to applicable law.
Security and confidentiality
Access controls, tenant isolation, audit records, secure session settings, backups and production security controls form part of the technical safeguards used by the service.
Subprocessors and transfers
A production DPA will identify relevant subprocessors, hosting locations, transfer safeguards, incident-notification commitments and assistance obligations for the applicable deployment.
